CyberLink and Siano Mobile Silicon Launch Multi-Band, Multi-Standard Mobile TV Solution
Companies showcase the SMS1000 chipset and CyberLink's Mobile TV Solution at IBC
Taipei, Taiwan - September 4, 2006 - CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader in digital home solutions, in conjunction with Siano Mobile Silicon, today announced the release of a combined software and mobile TV chipset solution designed for multiple mobile TV standards. The companies are demonstrating their products at Siano's Mobile Zone stand, M255 during at IBC, September 8-12.
Siano's SMS1000 features CyberLink's Mobile TV Solution which allows the user to receive DVB-H, DAB-IP and T-DMB TV signals. Together with the "standard-agnostic" player from CyberLink Mobile TV, the combination provides a readied solution for multi-band supporting the various mobile TV standards found in Europe, Asia and the US.
