Formerly CEO of Emblaze Semiconductor, Entrepreneur in Residence at Concord VC, General Manager of Zoran Israel and VP Engineering of Zoran Corporation, and responsible for the overall engineering activity at Zoran worldwide. Alon has 15 years experience in fabless IC management, product roadmap definition and strategy, SoC architecture and design, and building and maintaining commercial relationships with global customers.
Alon is experienced in leading the entire activity of a fabless IC company, including building its vision, mission, strategy and revenue generation, with a proven track record in building partnerships with market leaders, in particlar, mobile phone platform providers. He holds a BSEE (Cum Laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology (Israel) and completed the MSEE program at Santa Clara University (CA, USA).
Formerly COO at Emblaze Semiconductor, VP Operations at Lenslet Labs, and VP Human Resources at Zoran Corporation. At Emblaze Semiconductor Hamutal was responsible for IC manufacturing, building and maintaining close relationships with leading ASIC vendors and assembly houses, and overseeing the evaluation and reference board manufacturing process.
During her tenure, Hamutal secured competitive silicon costs for the company, which resulted in highly competitive market prices. In addition, she was solely responsible for the company's finance, legal, IT, HR and operations activities. She holds a BA (Summa Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Linguistics and an MA (Cum Laude) in Linguistics, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel).
Roy joined the Siano team in 2004, served as architecture and algorithms manager, and assumed his current position in 2007. Prior, he held key positions at Tioga Technologies, a fabless semiconductor company acquired by STMicroelectronics. As part of his responsibilities, he was system expert in charge of system design for a DSL product line, and managed a DSL development project. He also served as algorithms team leader at Orckit Communications, a leading DSL solutions provider.
From 1994-2000, Roy served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces, where he developed and managed a wide range of technology projects in computing and telecommunications. He holds a BSEE (Cum Laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and an MSEE from Tel Aviv University (Israel).
Prior to joining the Siano team, Lior played an integral role in establishing Mysticom, a fabless IC maker of fast Ethernet solutions. During his tenture at Mysticom, he held the position of director of IC engineering and product development, responsible for the company's multi-gigabit Ethernet PHY products. Prior, he held several senior design and management positions at National Semiconductor.
Lior holds an MBA (Cum Laude) from Heriot-Watt University (UK) and a BSEE (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University (Israel).
Dvora Nuriel-Valach joined Siano as Chief Financial Officer in early 2011, bringing over 20 years of experience in corporate and field function finance management. Prior to Siano, Dvora served as CFO of eglue and played a key role in the acquisition of the company by Nice Systems. Earlier in her career, she held the position of CFO at Scitex Vision, acquired by HP, where she led pre- and post-transaction related activities.
Dvora has also held a variety of executive finance-related positions, including VP Corporate Economics at Amdocs and CFO Scitex Europe, a subsidiary of the Scitex Corporation. She holds an MBA and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Co-founder of Savan Communication, a fabless IC provider of xDSL solutions, acquired by Infineon in 2000. During his tenure at Savan, Amnon held the position of system engineering and application group manager, as well as R&D manager. Prior, he was a leading hardware and systems engineer and a communications design expert at Nexus, Orckit and DSP Group.
Amnon has over two decades of experience in various communications fields, including VDSL modems, error correction, synchronization, channel equalization, and echo Cancellation. He holds a BSEE (Cum Laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology (Israel).
Ronen was software leader of the DECT product line at DSPG, and software manager at ModemArt (acquired by Agere) and at Sensotech. Ronen has a keen understanding of system software architecture and trade-offs, and in-depth experience in channel coding, digital mobile phones, cellular baseband processors, Bluetooth modem chips, WCDMA and GSM/GPRS protocols.
He holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bar Ilan University (Israel).
Loren brings to 15 years of experience in semiconductor and electronic components marketing and sales. Prior to joining Siano, Loren held the position VP Worldwide Sales of SyChip, Inc., purchased in 2006 by the Murata Corporation. Earlier in his career, Loren held several industry positions in senior sales management, including Director of Sales for SyChip with a focus on strategic OEM engagements, at Conexant Systems and at Wyle Electronics.
He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a B.Sc. in Political Science from Texas Christian University (USA).
