Sales Manager - China

Job Description:

Sales and Business Development

Job Location:

Siano China (Shenzhen)

Job Capacity:

• General
  • Reporting to General Manager China
  • Area Manager for all business activities in Shenzhen for the Consumer Electronic design house and ODM customers
  • Participation in all company marketing and sales face to face events at which road map, territory business overviews and marketing directions are discussed and determined
  • Responsible for formal, regular reporting of activities in territory as defined and requested by Siano management team, including but not limited to:
    • Bi-weekly territory update per the standard Siano sales reporting format
    • Formal meeting report for all primary customer meetings
• Sales Activities
  • Responsible for all account management with customer and partner accounts in the specified area
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to penetrate and support the key design house partners in the specified area
  • Responsibilities at these target accounts include, but are not limited to, the following activities: 
    • advance product promotion
    • general customer business support
    • evaluation and recommendation of prioritization of necessary in-region technical support
    • generally, pre- and post-sales activities
    • cross regional cooperation for any necessary global activities related to achieving design wins at Korean accounts
  • Responsible for evaluation and recommendation of new customer and partner accounts in the specified area
  • Responsible for management and day to day activity of all of the specified area manufacturer’s representative partners
  • Participate in regular evaluation of resource allocation to ensure appropriate use of key technical resources
• Business Development Activities
  • Evaluation of new opportunities in the specified area for penetration into new customer end product markets
  • Evaluation of new opportunities in the specified area for new feature additions to Siano product line
  • Representation at all necessary trade shows or exhibitions and customer or partner events in the specified area

Required Experience:

• >3 years experience in design and/or support of embedded communication devices
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following subjects:
• RF systems
• Embedded real time systems

Required Skills:

• BSEE /MSEE (or BSCS/MSCS)
